Our NGO has recently participated in the Regional Workshop held from April 24th to May 5th, 2023, in Ponta do Ouro-Maputo, Mozambique, on Planning a Sustainable Blue Future in the Western Indian Ocean. This workshop was funded by the Swedish Government (SIDA) in collaboration with SWAM, NC, UEM, WMU, WIOMSA, and SGU. The workshop's objective was to raise awareness and train the seven countries of the Indian Ocean on the importance of Marine Spatial Plans in the sustainable development of the blue economy. Mrs. Loubna Mohamed Salami Hamidi, Programs Manager for Climate Change and Sustainable Development, represented us.
